Nicolas is a Partner with over 16 years of experience advising on cross-border financing, regulatory, and corporate matters. Before joining TS&P, Nicolas was Regional Head of Legal at a leading service provider to the alternative investment funds industry. Nicolas had also practiced with an international law firm and with a leading independent law firm in Luxembourg.

Nicolas has extensive knowledge of legal, regulatory and personal data protection aspects of the operating models of alternative investment funds and alternative investment fund managers. Nicolas advises lenders and borrowers in connection with subscription line facilities. Nicolas is also experienced with the acquisition of CSSF-regulated businesses and management equity plans.

Nicolas is member of working groups of the Luxembourg fund industry’s association (ALFI).

Nicolas has authored papers on Luxembourg loan investment structures, lenders’ involvement in their borrowers’ corporate reorganizations, the duties of compliance officers, and corporate governance.
